Aston Villa and FA will not take further action after Tyrone Mings-Anwar El Ghazi bust-up
Neither the FA nor Even Aston Villa will take Some Actions against Anwar El Ghazi along with Tyrone Mings Within their clash.
Villa manager Dean Smith is pleased that the matter had been addressed by the team from the dressing room at half-time, after the 2 team-mates came during the 0-0 draw with West Ham, and the matter is closed.
And since the on-field official Mike Dean saw the episode and reviewed in Stockley Park at the nighttime by the VAR official , the FA is unable to take any retrospective action.
FA rules state that a player could be sent off for violent behaviour if this is directed at someone aside from a competitor.
In cases like this, there was contact once his head was pushed on by El Ghazi towards Mings, but Dean did not feel it had been sufficiently aggressive to warrant a red card.
The referee paused the game to permit VAR time to reassess his decision, and also the review and his interpretation concurred.
The FA also has looked at if any infringement was made by Arthur Masuaku on the rules by taking as long as 35 minutes to leave the field after he was shipped off for a second bookable offence and decided not to take additional action.
Dean’s game report included a reference while appealing to the Warriors together with his team-mates, Masuaku refusing to leave the area immediately.
